Welcome to SCK, my website that features healthy, gluten-free and grain-free recipes!
How did I end up living a gluten-free lifestyle? Years ago when my husband and I did the Keto diet, we adopted a gluten-free lifestyle and have kept it going over the years. I have continued baking with almond flour, eating more vegetables and foods higher in healthy fats.
You will find that my recipes are a little different. I don’t use typical gluten-free flour blends that contain grains. Instead, most of my baking recipes include almond flour, tapioca flour and occasionally oat or coconut flour.
I have a passion for cooking with clean, organic foods as well as local foods when possible. Buying produce without pesticides, meat without antibiotics and free-range, organic eggs is important to me. Over the years, I have come to choose foods that actually nourish and heal our bodies.

I’ve also had the pleasure of cooking for 8 families over the past decade. I never dreamt of being a food blogger or a photographer, but here I am now absolutely loving it. I have fallen in love with food and all of the ways that we can be creative with it. I love the way it plays a part in community and gatherings with friends and family. My husband and I are both foodies, so one of our favourite things to do is try new restaurants together. 
I hope my blog inspires you to try new recipes and maybe even create your own someday. This journey thrills me and I am grateful that I can share some of my favourite recipes with you.
